This forthcoming report analyzes the current wave of anti-DEI legislation in higher education and its impact on access, belonging, and opportunity for students of color. Drawing on policy trends across multiple states, it highlights how the dismantling of DEI offices, race-conscious hiring bans, and other legislative efforts threaten institutional commitments to equity. It also identifies strategies for legal navigation and organizational response.
